Pastor Timothy Schmidt

Pastor Timothy Schmidt serves as a Board Member of Global Christian Book Fund. He served
as Senior Pastor of Calvary Christian Church in Lynnfield, Massachusetts from 1988 to 2024,
growing the congregation from a small gathering to more than 2,000 members on Boston’s North
Shore. He continues to serve on staff as Pastor to Senior Adults.

A third-generation Assemblies of God minister, Pastor Tim holds a B.S. in Psychology from Old
Dominion University (1980), a B.S. in Bible & Ministerial Studies from University of Valley
Forge (1982), and an M.Div. from The King’s University (2010). He also served as Assistant
Superintendent for the Southern New England Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God from
2014-2024. Under his leadership, Calvary became the first church in the network to reach the
two-million-dollar mark in annual giving to missions, reflecting a long-standing commitment to
the global church that makes his partnership with GCBF a natural fit.
