When a Bible college launches a new theology program, or a seminary pursues accreditation for the first time, one of the first things they need is a library — a real, functional collection that meets accreditation standards and anchors the institution’s academic credibility for years to come.
Most accrediting bodies set a minimum number of volumes a school’s library must hold before a program can even be considered. Without that baseline collection, a school cannot get accreditition, no matter how strong its faculty or how genuine its calling.
