Dr. Steven A. Hardy

Dr. Steven A. Hardy serves on the Advisory Committee of Global Christian Book Fund. He has worked as a missionary educator since the mid-1970s, living and serving in Ethiopia, Brazil, Mozambique, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States. He holds theological studies from Bethel University in Minnesota and a doctorate in missiology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago.

Dr. Hardy has served as an educational consultant with SIM, Overseas Council, Langham Partnership, and the International Council for Evangelical Theological Education (ICETE), where he has been a senior consultant since 2005. He is the author of Excellence in Theological Education: Effective Training for Church Leaders (Langham), a widely used resource in majority-world seminary contexts. His decades of on-the-ground experience across more than one hundred theological institutions make him a valuable voice in GCBF’s work of equipping seminaries and Bible schools in the Global South.
