Bishop Joel Chola

Bishop Joel Chola serves on the Advisory Committee of Global Christian Book Fund. He is the Executive Director of the Clarence Matheny Leadership Training Institute (CMLTI) near Nairobi, Kenya, a role he has held since 2007. CMLTI is the ministry arm of Clarence Matheny Ministries, whose vision is captured in a single phrase: “Touch the Leader, Change the Church; Touch the Church, Change the Nations.”

Bishop Chola brings more than fifteen years of pastoral and organizational leadership to his work, overseeing a staff team that ministers to thousands of church leaders each year across Kenya and East Africa. He is widely respected among pastors throughout the region as both a friend and a leader. His work at the intersection of pastoral training and resource distribution makes him a natural partner with GCBF’s mission.
