Young leaders in Uzbekistan are hungry for God’s Word — and now they have it in their hands.
Through a trusted ministry contact, we were able to provide copies of the Gospel Transforming Bible (published by Crossway) to young leaders in this remarkable but often overlooked region of Central Asia.
Since the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991, international Christian workers have been able to enter Central Asia, and thousands have come to know the Lord. Yet hundreds of thousands still haven’t heard the Gospel. In Uzbekistan, where access to Christian resources is limited and faith is often practiced quietly, getting Bibles and training materials into the hands of believers is both a challenge and a privilege.
Local leaders have a vision rooted in the Word — they long to see churches grow healthy and self-sustaining, with regular gatherings, biblically grounded sermons, and communities that understand the Bible as one unified story. Most of all, they long to see families and lives transformed by God’s Word.
These photos are a rare glimpse into ministry in a difficult place. We share them with gratitude and with prayer for the bold, faithful people behind them.
